Ten Questions About Sleepy Hollow

John Cho as Andy Brooks on Sleepy Hollow.Oh, Sleepy Hollow, I’m glued to you every week. I’ll miss you when this season comes to a finale. Please get renewed!  You only have so much time to tie up loose ends; here are some questions that need answering.

  1. Moloch is dead, Henry has quit his job as the Horseman of War and the Apocalypse has been averted, what does this mean for the seven years of tribulations? If we’ve learned anything from Buffy, it’s that an apocalypse can happen every season. Did the Horsemen of Pestilence and Famine get pink-slipped? Is Headless just over it? What is going on here?
Abbie talks to her ex-boyfriend Luke Morales on Sleepy Hollow

Shouldn’t Lieutenant Mills notice that her ex is missing?

  2. Are you going to address the fact that Luke Morales, Abbie’s ex-boyfriend just up and disappeared? The last time we saw him, he was possessed by Ancitif and killed Officer Devon Jones. Even if we don’t see hottie Nicholas Gonzalez again, a brief mention would seem less half-assed.
  3. Speaking of missing officers, Moloch’s death resulted in a mass exodus from Purgatory, where’s Andy Brooks? In “This is War,” he helped guide Abbie out of Purgatory and was attempting to find his humanity. Is he good, bad, conflicted? You just can’t forget John Cho ever happened. His show Selfie was canceled. Pick up the phone.
  4. Okay, not to obsess over the sheriff’s department, but are we ever going to hear Sheriff’s Corbin voice recordings again? They were one of the coolest elements of Season One. Who wouldn’t want to hear Clancy Brown’s rich voice?
  5. And another thing, in the pilot episode, Sheriff Corbin mentioned there are “other [covens] spread out across the East Coast. ” Will we ever get to see that? A Team Witness road trip to DC would be something else,  imagine Ichabod taking in the Washington Monument?
  6. One last Corbin question: What’s up with Joe Corbin? Ichabod and Katrina have been squatting in his late father’s cabin. Is Joe aware of the cabin? He needs to demand some rent.
  7. Where does Abbie live? Didn’t she have an apartment in the early episodes? The leading lady warrants her own set. Just move Katrina back to Frederick’s Manor and let the Witnesses take over the cabin until Joe boots them out.
  8. So, what’s the status of Frank and Cynthia’s marriage? In “The Midnight Ride” episode he complained that “She kept the damn dog.” In “Sanctuary,” she threatened to file for full custody if Frank kept missing weekends with Macey. It seems like their marital status is vague now. And where is this dog? (I miss Macey, but she’s safer at home in New York.)
  9. Okay, this one is important: Where is the Kindred? He just galloped away with the Horseman’s head. Abbie and Jenny gave the idea of raising a monster a lot of justifiable side-eye, but Ichabod was pushy so they gave in. What has he been up to? One of Ichabbie’s most important duties was to keep that head in a secure location.
  10. Why isn’t there more cast and crew engagement on Twitter? God bless Orlando Jones, but the other actors barely update their accounts. It seems that shows who are well represented by their casts and crew on Twitter do better n the ratings. I been wondering that same question about The Kindred where is he? What has he been doing and why wasn’t he there to take up the heavy work in The Akeda episode..

Are we ever gonna see Orion again?

And there got to be more people in Sleepy Hollow other than Native Americans and Weavers who know about the supernatural things that are going on in that town are we gonna see any of them… I want expansion of their world.

A side trip to Virginia would be nice for Crane to visit with some of his Old School Friends.

    1. Elaine F. says:

I’d love to see Seamus Duncan from Geronimotors. Abbie has that mystical thingy from Orion, so maybe he’ll show up. Or maybe he was just a plot device to cause friction in the Ichabbie relationship.

  2. Lynette Santoro-Au says:

I couldn’t read the email message Abby got tonight from the reporter, did anyone catch it?

    1. Elaine F. says:

Me either, but I am watching again right now and will study it so I can include it in the recap!

    2. Elaine F. says:

The email read, “Trust me: I never reveal my sources.”
