  • Power: “Why Her?” — July 18, 2015

James “Ghost” St. Patrick reconnected with his high school sweetheart Angela Valdes. They make a fetching couple and nothing stands in the way of their “happily ever after.” Well, almost nothing. Jamie is a drug distributor and Angie, who is part of a federal drug task force, has been pursuing a shadowy figure known by the street name Ghost. While Jamie eventually found out what his lover does for a living, Angie was under the impression, that Jamie is simply a nightclub owner. The fed zeroed in on Ghost’s best friend, partner, and loose canon of a dragon Tommy Egan. As part of her investigation, Angie leaned on Tommy’s sketchy girlfriend Holly, who just told Agent Valdes that the man she’s been searching for is Jamie. In other words, Power is a screwball romantic comedy.

  • Power Recap: “I Got This on Lock”

When Angela Valdes strolled into James “Ghost” St. Patrick’s nightclub, feelings reignited for the high school sweethearts. Their only obstacle was that Angie didn’t reveal that she was working on an FBI drug task force looking to nail someone named “Ghost” and Jamie never mentioned that he goes by the street name “Ghost.” The crazy kids hugged it out and Angie destroyed the evidence implicating Jamie. Now Jamie has gone legit [Editor’s Note: Hahahaha] and can devote himself to stroking Angie’s magnificent chestnut tresses. One hiccup: Tommy Egan–Ghost’s former business partner, dragon and white soul brother has beef with Ghost and has been ordered by drug kingpin Lobos to kill G.

  • Power Recap: “Don’t Go”

When Angela Valdes strolled into Truth, James “Ghost” St. Patrick’s nightclub, the high school sweethearts had a lot of catching up to do. Angie was assigned to an FBI drug task force hunting an upper-tier drug distributor named “Ghost.” In other words, Agent Valdes was unwittingly looking to nab her boyfriend. Angie sabotaged the FBI case so that Jamie could walk away from his criminal past and spend his days running his fingers through her magnificent chestnut tresses. Mexican cartel leader Lobos was a bother so G.had to team up with Tommy Egan, who is G.’s business, partner, dragon and white soul brother to whack Lobos. Too bad Tommy’s girlfriend Holly jumped the gun and inserted herself into the situation; a pissed off Tommy ended the relationship by strangling Holly with his bare hands. He feels bad but, sorry Tommy, no backsies.

  • Power: “Like We’re Any Other Couple” — June 20, 2015

High school sweethearts Jamie St. Patrick and Angela Valdes reunited when she strolled into his nightclub, Truth. Ironically, neither of them can tell each other the whole truth about their lives. Jamie neglected to mention that he’s leading a double life as a drug distributor, who goes by the name “Ghost.” Angie didn’t tell him that she’s part of a federal task force investigating the Lobos drug cartel. Well, she was on the task force until she screwed up the case, so she was demoted to the white-collar crime division. But Angie’s still secretly working the case.
