That was fast! According to a Hollywood Reporter exclusive Sophie Foster, the mysterious woman who tangled with Jenny Mills,—which is a nervy move—will return to Sleepy Hollow. Jessica Camacho, who appeared in the “Blood and Fear” episode, has landed a spot as a series regular. You’ll remember that Sophie stole the Shard of Anubis from Randall Martin and left him cuffed to a shower railing. Jenny’s increased visibility, in what I like to think of as an in-show spinoff, The Jenny & Joe Show, requires additional characters so that we can see Jenny in the artifact-hunting mode we’d only heard about. (Now that we are on the subject, raise your hand if you’d like more of Anthony K. Hyatt as Randall Martin.) Camacho appeared as Rachel in a few episodes of Nikita, which featured Lyndie Greenwood as Sonya. She was also in the Minority Report episode “Hawk-Eye.”
This can help develop an area Sleepy Hollow hasn’t explored in past seasons: world-building. Team Witness shouldn’t operate in a vacuum. The fates of extras and one-episode characters have no impact. Save-the-world shows, in particular, benefit from regular characters to worry about; Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Battlestar Galactica supplied plenty of nailbiting and gut-wrenching scenarios. Ichabbie could use more interaction with Sleepy Hollow denizens. Sleepyheads took a liking to Seamus Duncan and Big Ash. It was sad when quirky Revolutionary War fangirl, Caroline, was whacked by the Weeping Lady; imagine how affecting it would have been if we’d had more than a few scenes in two episodes.

The series has had hit-or-miss results with new characters. It takes chops to keep up in a scene with the brilliant Nicole Beharie, Tom Mison and Lyndie Greenwood. Season 3 has been a vast improvement on that front with Shannyn Sossamon, Zach Appelman and Lance Gross. Sossamon is captivating as cryptic crazypants Pandora. Fan-favorite Zach Appelman’s Joe Corbin (who is newish) is a success; he has a significant link to the mythology and chemistry with the leads. Now let’s pray that C-Dawg has another talk with Jesus.
Abbie’s ex-boyfriend and boss, Agent Daniel Reynolds, played by Lance Gross offers intriguing possibilities. His mere presence prompted some severe Ichabod side-eye, which is a reward in itself, and he may be shady. All epic ships need complications (As soap grand dame Agnes Nixon said, “Make them laugh, make them cry, make them wait.”) let Ichabod do the waiting.
Good luck Sophie Foster, may the hashtags be ever in your favor.
We love brilliant bon mots from Sleepyheads, have at it. Comments don’t appear right away, but we promise we’ll get to them as soon as we figure out where we misplaced the shard.
Sleepy Hollow airs Thursdays at 9/8c on Fox

All the ladies are VIPs. Angela wants to save Jamie — or put him in prison, whichever works; Holly wants to save Tommy; Tasha wants to save Tasha (okay, she also wants to save the family and the style to which she’s become accustomed, so she wants to save Jamie, too, I guess.) Tasha’s mom, Estelle, wants to save us from more of the unsettling Tasha/Shawn sexcapdes. She apparently is not on #Team Tawn. Spoiler Alert: Team Tawn is not going away quietly, so prepare yourselves Here’s a sneak peek at what’s coming up.
Power airs Saturdays at 9 p.m.ET/PT on Starz. After you watch the show, come back for our recaps.

On the next episode of Power, Tommy Egan attempts to keep his hands clean. Seeing as he’s close to Kanan, what Tommy really needs to do is to watch his back; that Kanan is treacherous. Tommy doesn’t know it yet, but he has a bigger problem, Holly, his nosy chatterbox girlfriend is being squeezed by the feds. This is what comes from spilling all your secrets, Tommy.
Angela Valdes and her beautiful hair are determined to prove that Tommy is the drug distributor “Ghost.” Of course, she doesn’t know that Ghost is actually her lover, Jamie. St. Patrick. Everybody is about to have a bad day. Everybody but Angie’s beautiful hair. Regardless of what’s going on Angie has yet to have a bad day hair.
Check out these sneak peaks.
Episode five airs on Saturday, July 11 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Starz

Good news! Jamie and Angela finally make that trip to Miami. Bad news! Angela is still a fed and Ghost is still the drug distributor she’s searching for. OMFG news!!! Ghost’s best friend, Tommy, is getting close to Ghost’s worst enemy, Kanan.
Here are some previews of tomorrow night’s episode of Power.
I’ve got a bad feeling about this, you guys.
Power airs Saturdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

There’s more to come, Power fans, Starz’s glamorous and gritty crime drama will return for a third season.
In a statement, executvive producer and star Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, who plays cutthroat parolee, Kanan, said, “Power is a project I have been passionate about since day one,” adding, “I am glad the audience loves the show as much as we do, and we are just getting started.”
Starz has ordered 10 episodes, shooting begins in September.
Did last week’s episode have you on the edge-of-your-seat? Me too! When Tommy told Jamie that his mistress Angela’s a fed, I may or may not have disturbed the neighbors with a lot of, “OMG!” and “OMFG!” shrieks. (Mr. & Mrs. TV Recapprers’ Delight live in a pad with thin walls.)
That vulture Simon Stern is making a, well, power-grab to take control of Jamie’s club, Truth. Here’s a peek at what’s ahead on tomorrow night’s episode, “No Friends on the Street.”
Ghost also has to deal with Kanan, who has been released from prison after ten years. He seems like the type to nurse a grudge.
Power airs on Saturdays at 9ET/PT time on Starz.

Okay, Power fans get ready for the sex — and lots of it —, drugs backstabbing and intrigue, Season Two premieres tomorrow at 9 pm. ET/PT.
The series, created by Courtney Kemp Agboh, stars Omari Hardwick as James “Ghost” St. Patrick., Joseph Sikora as Tommy Egan, Naturi Naughton as Tasha St. Patrick, Lelia Loren as Angela Valdes and Executive Producer 50 Cent as Kanan.
Here’s what you can expect:
Ghost picks up the pieces at Truth after the botched murder attempt against him, while redoubling his commitment to the drug game. He has to do this without assistance from Tommy, who’s gone missing after learning that Angela’s a federal prosecutor. Ghost turns to Tasha for support, but soon discovers that the club shooting is the least of his problems

]]>Sometimes I secretly watch The Bachelor/Bachelorette in shame with an ice cream sandwich. Please don’t tell anyone, okay? Dating show producers are evil, that’s what I like best so I’m excited for the debut of UnREAL on Lifetime tonight, the series is about the behind-the-scenes Machiavellian techniques the producers use for maximum drama and ridiculousness.
The series stars Shiri Appleby as Rachel, who kinda, sorta feels bad about being an evil genius, and Constance Zimmer as Quinn, who does not feel bad about being an evil genius. I love Quinn already! (Zimmer was excellent as brainy, badass reporter Janine Skorsky in House of Cards, so I’m already a fan.)
Don’t wish you could watch this with The Bachelorette’s Kaitlyn, Britt and mastermind Chris “There’s only one rose left.” Harrison?
The series is co-created and executive produced by Marti Noxon, who is at the helm of the delightful Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce.
Check out the show at 10/9c on Lifetime tonight.

The series takes place before the Manson Family cult’s 1969 murderous rampage. The crime drama also features Gethin Anthony, who played Renly Baratheon on Game of Thrones as Charles Manson. Brian Shafe, who portrayed Hastings Ruckle on Friday Night Lights, plays a scruffy vice cop who fits in with the new generation. The missing teen is played by Emma Dumont, who portrayed Melanie Segal on Bunheads.
After Thursday night’s network premiere, you can catch all 13 episodes on Netflix this Friday.
