The series takes place before the Manson Family cult’s 1969 murderous rampage. The crime drama also features Gethin Anthony, who played Renly Baratheon on Game of Thrones as Charles Manson. Brian Shafe, who portrayed Hastings Ruckle on Friday Night Lights, plays a scruffy vice cop who fits in with the new generation. The missing teen is played by Emma Dumont, who portrayed Melanie Segal on Bunheads.

After Thursday night’s network premiere, you can catch all 13 episodes on Netflix this Friday.

The six-episode X-Files Revival with Duchovny and Gillian Anderson as Fox Mulder and Dana Scully begins airing on January 24 on Fox.
