Jamie “Ghost” St. Patrick loves Angela Valdes. So what if he’s a drug distributor for a Mexican cartel? So what if she is a federal agent working to nab Felipe Lobos the head of the cartel? So what if Ghost deliberately screwed up Angela’s case and Angela destroyed evidence against Jamie and now she’ll probably get fired from the FBI? So what? This is Jangela or as I’ve been informed Jamela. So what if they have multiple portmanteaus? Jamie and Angela belong together no matter what and that’s that.

Power: “Time’s Up” — Aug. 8, 2015

James St. Patrick had everything, a family, a mansion in the sky, a thriving nightclub and a secret identity as a major drug distributor, Ghost. He had a loyal best friend, business partner and dragon, Tommy Egan. Well, he didn’t actually have everything. He didn’t have his high school sweetheart Angela Valdes. She sashayed into his club and they had no real obstacles, except for her being part of an FBI task force, determined to put away Jamie’s boss, kingpin Felipe Lobos. One thing led to another in this screwball comedy and Angie nailed Lobos and Tommy, whom she wants to testify against Lobos. Jamie narrowly missed capture. When you’re in love, you let a few things slide.

Reunited high school sweethearts Jamie “Ghost” St. Patrick and Angela Valdes are in love. Their romance is like a screwball comedy. He’s a successful drug-distributor, she is an ambitious federal agent. Tommy Egan is Jamie’s friend, partner and dragon. Angie has been searching for a shadowy figure named Ghost and wants to believe that Tommy is that man, although she has reason to suspect her lover. It’s all one raucous comedy. Let’s go!

Power Preview: Three Moves Ahead

I’ll say this for Ghost St. Patrick, the man is an optimist. Just because, he’s a drug distributor and Angie Valdes, the love of his life is a fed assigned to a drug task force, does not stand in the way of his dreams for them.

Reunited high school sweethearts Angela Valdes and Jamie “Ghost” St. Patrick are madly in love, but they have to keep that secret for now. Nobody knows, except for Jamie’s best friend, partner and dragonTommy Egan. Tommy disapproves because he is loyal to Jamie’s wife. (Somebody has to be.) Tommy also gives severe side-eye to a drug distributor in a romance with a federal prosecutor who is part of a drug task force. The only other person who knows is everybody!

Power: “Why Her?” — July 18, 2015

James “Ghost” St. Patrick reconnected with his high school sweetheart Angela Valdes. They make a fetching couple and nothing stands in the way of their “happily ever after.” Well, almost nothing. Jamie is a drug distributor and Angie, who is part of a federal drug task force, has been pursuing a shadowy figure known by the street name Ghost. While Jamie eventually found out what his lover does for a living, Angie was under the impression, that Jamie is simply a nightclub owner. The fed zeroed in on Ghost’s best friend, partner, and loose canon of a dragon Tommy Egan. As part of her investigation, Angie leaned on Tommy’s sketchy girlfriend Holly, who just told Agent Valdes that the man she’s been searching for is Jamie. In other words, Power is a screwball romantic comedy.

The next episode of Power is intense. Yes, you can say that about every episode and I do say that about every episode, so maybe I need to broaden my vocabulary but let’s stay on-topic. This upcoming Hour of Power really elevates the OMG and OMFG factor.

High school sweethearts Jamie “Ghost” St. Patrick and Angela Valdes reconnected and fell in love again. They have a few wrinkles to iron out, such as where they’ll reside once he divorces his surly wife, Tasha, the St. Patrick’s parental custody arrangement and how much counter space Angie will need to store the hair products that keep her lovely tresses on point.
