Because there was Crane dangling midway up a ladder trying not to get his butt ate off by a Reaver on his back (on his back, y’all!!) and there’s Abbie trying for all her 5’1″ to haul him up to safety…and all Calvin can do is stand back at a safe distance and take overhead pictures?! Nah, Crane owed him a little get back.

You think that $7k camera was an unfortunate casualty of their war? Once Crane had fully assessed the situation, his gears were already in motion. He was already planning how he’d work it out, “Nah son, your camera there ain’t gone make it for damn sure…” (But, like, in Cranese obvs)
