As I watched the episodes last season I couldn’t help but think that some of them were just dragging along in terms of plot and action. So far this season the episodes ain’t dragging at all. Thus far the show seems to be firing on all cylinders and this week’s episode was no exception.
This week we see that Theo Galavan still has his boot firmly planted on the Penguin’s neck and Penguin is choking as a result. Theo is also revealing more of his grand master plan for taking over Gotham.

This week’s segment in the tale of the formative years of the Dark Knight has an unexpected turn or two that play out. Chaos will be caused in Gotham, yet again, and a “hero” will rise out of all of it. So let’s get going, shall we?
Well, after last week’s escapades it seems that Theo Galavan decided to step it up a notch in what is now obviously his plan to take over the city. First he ‘persuades’ the mayor to disappear but not before saying that monsters are coming to cleanse the city in blood and fire. Next he takes the leash off Jerome and the other four nut jobs whose escape from Arkham he engineered
The first season of Gotham started off rather tamely, but by the season finale things had gotten rather interesting. The show doesn’t waste any time getting viewers up to speed with what’s going on with the major players in season two.
