Special contributor Andrée H. really, really, really likes The Bachelorette, but this season is thorny because Kaitlyn is getting on her nerves. I think it’s some sort of Canadian beef, don’t get involved. Andrée is protective of Shawn, Kaitlyn better watch her back.
Our editor-at-large Geri M. is watching this season of The Bachelorette, after swearing she was done with it. I may or may not have lured her back into the fold. As retaliation, I have been getting a series of emails and messages. They need to be shared. Here is Geri’s stream-of-consciousness recaplet of Episode 8.
On HBO’s new show, Ballers, Spencer finally lands the contract he wants, but there are strings attached.
Jamie “Ghost” Patrick has a complicated life. He’s married to Tasha but in love with his high-school sweetheart, Angela Valdes. Jamie is a drug distributor. Angie is a federal investigator; she’s looking for somebody named “Ghost.” She suspects Tommy Egan, Jamie’s best friend, business partner, and dragon. Jamie also has to watch his back because his former boss, Kanan, who spent 10 years in prison while his protégées got rich, is plotting a takeover.
Poor Ghost. He had such a lovely time in Miami with Angie, but his return to New York is steeped in drama.
Editor’s Note: Our special contributor Andrée H. really, really, really likes this show, but a war is brewing between her and Kaitlyn. The Bachelorette is playing with Shawn’s feelings. Nobody plays with Shawn’s feelings, not on Andrée’s watch. Andrée now has to wear a monitor on her ankle so we make sure she doesn’t track down Kaitlyn and lob roses at her head.
Good friend and frequent commenter Geri M. is watching this season of The Bachelorette, after swearing she was done with it. I may or may not have lured her back into the fold. Last night, I received a series of messages about the show, so this post is devoted to Geri’s stream-of-consciousness review.
