Empire: Lucious is Acting So Crazy Right Now
Lucious Lyon is having some mood swings. Three episodes ago he kind of loved Cookie, two episodes ago he hated Cookie and was in the prison broom closet pumping his fist to his new rap about a “snitch bitch,” now he is out to stomp all over Cookie’s little record company. How much competition can tiny Lyon Dynasty be for Empire Records? Do not mess with Cookie Lyon! If he is determined to swat them, he needs to let Andre return to the fold, which would leave only Cookie and Hakeem out in the cold. (Poetry!)
Jamal, Papa Lyon’s OS X, is failing at being a badass. His turn to the dark side didn’t last long. You know who Lucious needs if he wants to keep going down this path? His bib-wearing daughter-in-law, Rhonda. Andre’s wife managed to take out Vernon with a candlestick and hide the body. Any pregnant lady who can do all that should get some respect. Lucious doesn’t know she did it, but still. Rhonda is the most frightening character on Empire, with the exception of that bratty new singer, Valentina. Please deliver us all from that yapping. Lucious poached the mouthy mosquito, who has the unmitigated gall to backtalk Cookie Lyon. If Lucious wants her on the label, he is definitely crazy. My money is still on Cookie. Empire airs on Wednesdays at 9/8c
